Based in Austin is an events planning and hosting business in Austin, Texas. We plan and host monthly in-person events for our community, and we run a membership program with several tiers that gives members access to our events and related perks.
We host at least one event every month in Austin. Anyone can buy a single ticket for an event. The price, date, location, and what's included are shown at the time of purchase.
Members pay a recurring subscription in exchange for access to our events and member benefits. We offer several membership tiers. Higher tiers include more benefits, such as access to more events, priority or early access to tickets, guest passes, and members-only gatherings. Each tier is offered at different levels of commitment:
The price, billing frequency, commitment length, and benefits of each tier are shown before you subscribe. All payments are processed securely by Stripe.
Event tickets: All ticket sales are final. Tickets cannot be refunded after purchase and cannot be transferred to anyone else, unless the Based in Austin executive team grants an exception.
Month-to-month memberships: You can cancel at any time. You keep your member benefits until the time you cancel. We do not give refunds or credits for partial periods.
Committed-term memberships: You can turn off renewal at any time and your membership will end when the current term ends. You can't cancel early and get a refund for the rest of the term, unless applicable law requires it.
Billing questions and disputes: If you think you were charged by mistake, please email us before you contact your bank. We reply within 7 business days and will refund any charge that was made in error.
